Milos Wagner, vice-president of Roskomnadzor, said that the agency is working on the mechanism for obtaining compensation for leak victims through the State Services. He told this to reporters TASS.
According to him, “Gosuslugi” can provide citizens with the opportunity to apply for leakage of personal data through the portal and claim compensation directly from the operator without trial.
Previously, the Ministry of Digital of Russia reportedthat the program to search for vulnerabilities on the public services portal revealed 34 errors in three months.
The ministry explained that the vulnerabilities were identified by “white hat hackers”.
The press service added that a total of 34 vulnerabilities were discovered. Most have medium to low criticality levels.
In April, the State Duma adopted amendments to the law “On military duty and service” in its third reading. Citizens who have received a summons will now be prohibited from leaving Russia until they arrive at the military registration and enlistment office.
