The drone crashed five kilometers from the First Plant oil refinery, and then the dry grass caught fire. Fire was extinguished by firefighters.

Vasily Anokhin, Former Deputy Governor of the Smolensk Region declarationHe said two drones attacked fuel and power facilities in the area.

According to Anokhin’s report, the attack took place around 3 a.m. local time (coinciding with Moscow time) in the village of Peresna, Pochinkovsky district, and the village of Divasy, Smolensk region.

As a result of the attack, it was announced that there was no critical damage as well as fire and loss of life. The operational services of the region are working on-site to eliminate the consequences.

Prior to this, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, reported that Ukrainian drones carried out a night attack.
