The Synodal Department of Church Relations with Society and Media of the Moscow Patriarchate announced that access to the “Trinity” icon in Andrei Rublev’s Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow will open after the Mass on 4 June. It has been reported TASS.

The publication states that on Sunday, Patriarch Kirill will hold a divine service, and access to the icon will take place from 10:00 to 19:00.

The image will be displayed for worship in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow for a year, after which the icon will occupy a historical place in the Trinity Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra in Sergiev Posad, Moscow Region. Since 1929, “Trinity” was in the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery.
