According to newspaper reports, Germany plans to buy Israeli MLRS Euro-PULS bild.
According to the publication, the MLRS will be able to replace the Mars II multiple launch rocket systems in service. After the purchase, the fleet of multiple launch rocket systems can be more than doubled – up to “80 units”.
Earlier, the Bundestag budget committee on May 24. approved € 525 million was allocated for the purchase of 18 Leopard 2 tanks of the modern version of the A8 to replace the vehicles transferred to Ukraine.
The maintenance and repair of the Leopard 2A4 and 2A6 tanks delivered to Ukraine will be carried out at the Bumar-Łabędy factory in Gliwice, Poland.
Germany then appealed to Switzerland with a request to sell some of the naphthalene Leopard 2 tanks. The Swiss Federal Council supported the decommissioning of 25 Leopard 2s for resale.
