The government imposes a temporary ban on the export of cartridges and bullets from Russia

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the ban on the export of cartridges for civil and service rifles from the Russian Federation and cartridge cases for rifled firearms of certain calibers. The corresponding statement was published on May 31 at: Web site cabinet.

The ban will be valid until 31 December 2023.

It was clarified that the ban does not apply to cartridges and shells intended to support the activities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and other troops and military formations.

In the statement, it was stated that the relevant decision was aimed at protecting the interests of Russia and was taken within the framework of the decree of the President of the Russian Federation.
