On the day of the incident, the man returned home drunk, bringing with him a frozen chicken, according to the publication. He was greeted at home by his 41-year-old wife, mother-in-law and two children. His wife asked him to leave the house, as she did not like her husband’s drunkenness.
During the conflict, the victim threw a chicken at his wife. Then her mother came to protect her daughter, but the man threw the chicken at her mother-in-law. After that he went to sleep.
A few hours later the man woke up and started arguing with his wife again. He was about to throw a stool at him but his wife got in front of him and stabbed him in the chest.
Family members immediately called an ambulance, the man was taken to the hospital.
The victim did not want to report the incident to the police as he reconciled with his wife, but the doctors had to convey the information to the law enforcement. A criminal case was opened against the woman in accordance with paragraph 3 of part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Inflicting grievous bodily harm, dangerous to human life, committed with the use of an object used as a weapon”. The materials have already been sent to the court. The victim wrote a petition asking him not to judge his wife.
