The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported lowering the age limit for military registration from 27 to 25. This was announced by the deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak on the Telegram channel.
According to him, 304 deputies participated in the voting for the adoption of the bill.
Related draft law registered On the Rada on May 10. It was initiated by the country’s Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal. The bill allows to attract more citizens to military service during mobilization.
The explanatory note of the bill stated that its implementation “normalizes the problem of replenishing the mobilized human reserve.” To date, it has been impossible to mobilize Ukrainian citizens of military age.
