“Otherwise, we will come to punish innocent people who spread this a bit stupidly,” Svintsov said.

The deputy said that in current conditions, air defense systems can be seen from the highway on the Novorizhskoye Highway – they are located at a distance of five to ten kilometers from each other. Numerous air defense systems have also been installed in the regions of Russia bordering Ukraine.

With a similar request the previous day, discussed Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine. He reminded authorities and bloggers that information on the operation of air defense systems in combat conditions cannot be published.

On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to organize a special military operation in Ukraine in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.

The decision to run the operation became the justification for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
