German Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Ingo Gerharz said that NATO Air Defense exercises to be held on 12-23 June are not a provocation for Russia. It has been reported TASS.
“Air Defender is here to demonstrate that we are an alliance that can act quickly in an emergency,” said Gerhartz.
He noted that the exercises are aimed at demonstrating that Alliance forces can respond to threats in a matter of hours.
