HE Retail trade posted 5% increase in sales in April Compared to the same month of 2022, the rate is 4.9 percentage points lower than the previous month, as the National Institute of Statistics (INE) reported on Tuesday.

On a product basis, food sales decreased by 0.1% in April compared to the previous month, while sales of other products increased by 2%, while sales of household goods decreased by 0.6%. Personal equipment sales increased by 10.2% in April compared to March.
