Russian President Vladimir Putin has decided to create a chairman of the board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation (MIC). It has been reported TASS.
It is reported that the chairmanship of the board will be engaged in improving the activities of the military-industrial complex. It will also make operational decisions to ensure the implementation of duties and functions.
Before Putin declarationthat the country’s officials knew of the West’s plans to supply Ukraine with substantial arms. The President also added that the Russian side does not allow excessive militarization of the economy. “We have all our plans in civil engineering, healthcare, same education, infrastructure development – we are not cutting anything. Nothing! and them [Западу] will have to be lowered,” said Putin.
The head of state noted that the Russian Federation plans to manufacture and modernize a total of more than 1,600 tanks in the next three years. He claims that as a result, the total number of this equipment will be more than three times the number of tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
