Educators, accountants and office managers are most afraid of life without communicating with loved ones, and bartenders, designers and managers often say that loneliness does not scare them. This was demonstrated in the SuperJob job search service survey, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
68% are not afraid of loneliness: 31% are not afraid of being alone at all, and 37% are not afraid at all. “On the contrary, I dream of a lonely life”; “There are so many interesting books, events, movies – I certainly won’t get bored,” the attendees say. In contrast, one-third (32%) fear loneliness: one-ninth (11%) are absolutely afraid of it, and one-fifth (21%) are quite afraid.
Those who are afraid of loneliness are most often among Russians with an income of less than 30 thousand rubles. (39% in total), self-sufficient people are more common among respondents with an income of more than 80 thousand rubles. (69%). Fear of loneliness is more typical in young people under 24 years old than in 25-34 year olds (35% versus 35%).
For educators (70%), accountants (46%), office managers (45%), nurses and sales managers (40%), loneliness is more frightening. Bartenders (94%), designers (79%), managers (76%), logistics managers and system administrators (72%) say that they will not be harmed without communication.
Russians are less and less afraid of loneliness: compared to 2021, the number of people who fear the absence of loved ones has decreased by 2 percent, more than 1.5 times compared to 2009.
