According to the press service of the organizing committee of city street events “Moscow Seasons”, from May 26 to June 4, 2023, the gastronomic festival “Fish Week” is held in Moscow.
Fish and seafood eaten by different peoples of Russia, as well as trade pavilions will operate throughout the city. The special market of the festival operates on the transition from Revolution Square to Manezhnaya Square.
“The Fish Market traditionally offers chilled, frozen, lightly salted and smoked products. Live snow crab-opilio, crab meat and herring are a special place, organizers said.
You can choose fish from the market until the end of the festival, the site is open from 11:00 to 21:00 Moscow time on weekdays and opens an hour earlier on weekends.
On May 27, there will be a big fishing excursion in Gorky Park – here everyone will be helped to understand the secrets of the craft, equipment can be obtained on the site. Recreation areas will also be equipped, rewards will be given for active participation. Also, on 2, 3 and 4 June, the Championship for professional and amateur fishermen will be held on the Golyanovskiy Pond and Kolomenskaya Embankment.
