Since last year, the Border Service of the Federal Security Service of Russia has increased the military component in personnel training, including to prevent attacks by sabotage groups. According to him, the emergence of new tasks, in particular to protect the Russian-Ukrainian section on the border, required changes in the training system for personnel of border agencies.

Kulishov said that the acquired skills are necessary to organize and conduct border activities in special conditions, including repelling armed attacks, suppressing provocations on the border, searching and eliminating sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
