Aleksey Chekunkov, head of the Ministry of Far East and Arctic Development of the Russian Federation, said that in 2023, four space launches are planned from the Vostochny cosmodrome. It has been reported TASS.

“As we know, four space launches are planned for 2023. “They will pass through the Vostochny cosmodrome,” said the minister.

Earlier, the Roscosmos press service reported that the Vostochny cosmodrome, located in the Amur Region, “slowly” increased launch activity.

“All “civilian” launches (which will be available to tourists): manned, trucks, satellite launches and other vehicles. But as there are some difficulties in logistics regarding Baikonur at the moment, it is better to talk to the tour operator,” he said.

The government agency also stated that this year Roscosmos plans not to bow to last year’s figure in terms of the number of tourists at its spaceports.
