Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klymenko said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine that the number of crimes related to cyber fraud in Ukraine has increased by 60% since February 2022.
According to the head of the ministry, cyber fraud is a separate problem facing the ministry.
“To date, there has been a 60 percent increase in the number of passengers. [таких] “Crimes against our citizens,” he said.
Klymenko explained that we are talking about the service industry, sales, details when they try to withdraw the victim’s card, to use it for their own purposes.
According to the minister, the ministry is establishing a center to solve such crimes.
