Rescuers found six tourists from Belarus alive, who had previously disappeared on Elbrus. This is stated in the press release Ministry of Emergencies.

“Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia found a group of tourists from the Republic of Belarus at an altitude of 3,800 meters under the top of the Utyug rock. There is no threat to people’s lives,” he says in the message.

According to preliminary data, a registered tourist group of five people climbed Elbrus. At an altitude of 4,800 meters, they sought help from rescuers. Tourists reported that they were near the Pastukhov rocks. One of the band members died. Climbers believe the cause is a heart attack.

Also on Elbrus, three snowboarders fell under the avalanche. They drove on an unmarked road near the Terskol pass, which could cause the snow to melt. Employees of the Ministry of Emergencies are already sent to the victims.
