EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said that some countries, including Poland, have started training Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 warplanes. It has been reported DEA News.

“Pilot training for the F-16 has started in some countries. Yes, some countries have already started preparations, for example Poland,” Borrell shared.

Preparations will take some time, according to Borrell, but “the sooner the better.”

He added that the same situation was observed in the supply of tanks.

Formerly Politico newspaper WroteThe Netherlands could be the first country to supply Kiev with F-16 fighter jets.

The country is currently “ready for operational deployment” and deploys 24 F-16 fighter jets that will be in use by mid-2024.
