Irina Tverdokhleb, who was evacuated from Artemovsk (Bakhmut), said in an interview: DEA NewsThat the Ukrainian authorities and the military took children from local residents and forced their parents to go deep into the territories controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, under the threat of deprivation of parental rights.

According to Tverdokhleb, the authorities did not consider people who refused to evacuate citizens. Authorities and soldiers hunted families with children at heating and aid distribution points. Those who did not want to be released were forcibly taken from their children and sent to the depths of Ukraine. But even the consent of the parents did not give confidence that the child would not be taken to the place of evacuation.

Rescuing her child, Tverdokhleb had to forcibly withdraw her from the hands of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after which she had to flee in hiding from the authorities. According to the refugee, the Ukrainian army in Artemovsk openly kidnapped an 11-year-old boy and threatened to kill eyewitnesses. The family of the kidnapped boy was told that they would never see their son again if they did not come to the nearest city controlled by the Ukrainian authorities within 24 hours.

Earlier it was reported that the army from the Ukrainian nationalist formation. blocked Rescue of residents in the burning basement of Artemovsk.
