Zelensky confirms Bakhmut’s loss

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, before meeting with his American counterpart Joe Biden, admitted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) no longer controls Bakhmut (Russian name – Artemivsk). Agency reports Reuters.

According to the agency, when journalists asked Zelensky if Ukraine was controlling Bakhmut, he replied in the negative.

“I don’t think so … it just remains in our hearts today,” Zelensky said.

Former Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation approved The capture of Artemovsk under the control of Russian troops. It is stated that the city was taken under control with the support of the Wagner PMC’s assault detachments and the Southern Military District’s artillery and aviation.

After Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated The Russian army with a successful operation to seize Artemovsk. The Kremlin added that state awards will be given to everyone who stands out.
