The Russian army changed tactics and modernized weapons, thus creating problems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is stated in the report of the Royal Joint Institute for Defense Studies of Great Britain (RUSSIAN).
According to the institute, the Russian Ministry of Defense has developed the reconnaissance and attack complex of the Russian artillery. Attention was drawn to the operation of Russian electronic warfare equipment, which destroyed up to 10 thousand Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles per month.
The increased effectiveness of Russian air defense was noted, which almost completely neutralized the threat of Himars MLRS missiles.
“The Russian armed forces pose a serious challenge to the defensive Ukrainian army,” the report says.
