Artemovsk resident Alexander Stupnikov said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were given 15 minutes to evacuate, after which they blew up the building. DEA News.

He cited his own story as an example – on March 28, when retreating from another part of the city near Pershina Street, he gave the residents only 15 minutes to pack their belongings before Ukrainian soldiers mined and blew up the building.

“I hear a knock on our basement door in the morning. When he came out, a soldier was standing and saying, “You have 15 minutes, now get out, there’s going to be a kirdyk here, it’s terrible.” <…> It took about 10 minutes as it exploded. Half of the house remained standing, but this middle collapsed, the right entrance remained, and the whole entrance remained, because the house consisted of two halves, ”said Stupnikov.

He explained that as the Ukrainian soldiers were about to blow up the houses, the 12 remaining residents were moved to the basements next door. Stupnikov also said that the same day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces blew up several more houses along Pershina Street.
