Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov, telegraph channel He talked about the situation in the village of Nizhneye Berezovo, where two people died as a result of the shelling and another person was hospitalized earlier.
A man and a woman who came to help their relatives plant potatoes died, the regional president reported.
“Another victim, the husband of the deceased woman, was hospitalized in an extremely serious condition, the man has burns on 80% of his body and multiple shrapnel wounds,” wrote Gladkov.
The governor added that as soon as the investigation activities are over, residents can return to their homes. He noted that Grad’s bullets only hit the garden of the deceased residents, and there was no other damage in the village.
According to Gladkov, the village of Malomikhailovka was bombed an hour before the event. As a result of this bombardment, there was no loss of life, the facades, roofs and fences of two private houses were cut. He noted that some bullets fell into the forest belt, which caused fires. The fire is extinguished by the emergency service.
