Russia has started to block the HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) supplied by the USA to Ukraine more frequently with the help of electronic jammers. Reviewer writes about it 19 Forty-Five Maxim Skripchenko.
Skripchenko’s article says that by constantly focusing on the inevitability of a successful counterattack by Ukraine, it strengthens the belief that the media already has everything necessary to fulfill all its tasks, but such statements are misleading and harmful, because the problems facing the Armed Forces of Ukraine and limitations are overlooked.
According to the observer, Russian troops, aware of Ukraine’s plans, moved their command center out of range of the HIMARS rocket launchers.
“Offensive operations often begin by disrupting enemy logistics and command centers, so this move severely limits Ukraine’s ability to launch effective attacks. Also, Russia is increasingly successful in intercepting HIMARS missiles by using electronic jammers to make the missiles miss their target,” he writes.
On May 17, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that Russian air defense systems caught nine HIMARS missiles.
