Military analyst, war veteran Roman Nasonov in an interview with FAN announcedHow to counter the Storm Shadow missiles supplied to Ukraine by the UK. On May 12, the Armed Forces of Ukraine with these munitions attacked the Polypak polymer products enterprise and the Milam meat processing plant in Lugansk. According to the expert, most likely, Kiev converted for these purposes an aircraft that was not designed to carry such shells.
“Storm Shadow missiles are air-to-ground, that is, launched from an aircraft from a fairly reasonable height. <…> The rocket itself is not small and makes changes to the aerodynamics of the aircraft. Therefore, the task of our air defense is to monitor such air objects, the trajectory of their flight, ”continued Nasonov.
He also expressed confidence that in the near future Russia will give an adequate response, which many times exceeds the consequences of the attack on Lugansk.
Former military expert Yuri Knutov judicial Russian cities threatened by Storm Shadow attacks.
