In Mexico City, an escaped chicken paralyzed the operation of the local subway, writes Mirror. Employees had to turn off the electricity and stop trains to get the bird off the tracks.
Subway workers reportedly tried to drive the bird away by chasing the chicken with helmets and mats, but the chicken continued to avoid them. The furry one managed to catch it only after he threw a coat over it.
Train traffic was reopened after subway officials were sure the danger had passed. It was reported that no one was injured in the incident and train services returned to normal in a short time.
Formerly in Britain because of the turtle on the tracks trains departed with a delay of 75 minutes. Police had to figure out how the animal ended up on the tracks, and the rail company apologized to the passengers.
