The court found a 64-year-old living in the Ilishevsky district of Bashkiria guilty of murdering a 95-year-old man. According to the materials of the case, the victim of the convict was clearly helpless for him, and the crime itself was committed with special cruelty for the sake of robbery. The murder and subsequent robbery took place in the early morning of August 25, 2022 in the village of Kadirovo.
The intoxicated convict appeared in the home of a 95-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War. The attacker attacked an old man with a pointed metal needle, a gas cylinder and another piercing and cutting object to steal the property. Then he shot the victim at least 26 times, broke into his house illegally and took 8,000 rubles with him. Gazi died at the scene due to the blows he received.
At the trial, the accused pleaded not guilty and was sentenced to 16 years in prison, which he would have to spend in a strict regime penal colony.
