The order to abolish the regime was signed by the regional governor Vasily Orlov. Since May 2, a state of emergency has been imposed in the forests of the region.
In the past day, 3 natural fires occurred on the territory of the Amur region, one of which was extinguished in an area of 11 hectares. On the morning of May 17, two active forest fires broke out in the region – in the Svobodnensky and Magdagachinsky districts. Both are currently localized.
With the help of the Lesohranitel video surveillance system, another fire was detected on the farmland in the Svobodnensky district on May 16. It was extinguished by more than 45 people, including paratroopers. According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire may have been deliberate arson.
