According to the Ministry, in 2022, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Agriculture and specialized scientific institutions of Rosselkhoznadzor signed an agreement on a consortium to combine the competencies of various scientific teams in creating an ASF vaccine. Its aim is to implement scientific projects to establish an experimental sample of the vaccine and to develop the scientific basis of African swine fever vaccination strategies.
The ministry said the consortium’s members are eight scientific and educational organizations.
The Ministry of Education and Science added that scientific research will continue to create effective and safe vaccines against African swine fever.
