Polish Control Room launches investigation at Ministry of Defense over rocket incident

Head of the Polish Supreme Control Chamber, Marian Banas, announced that an investigation was launched at the Ministry of National Defense regarding the “missile incident”. He said this on the broadcast of the TV channel Polsat.

Pointing out that the situation is very sensitive and dangerous, Banas said, “The Supreme Inspection Agency launched an investigation against the Ministry of National Defense and some other institutions regarding the rocket incident in a forest near Bydgoszcz.”

On 27 April, Polish authorities claimed to have found the wreckage of an “unidentified airborne military facility” near the village of Zamost, about 15 km from Bydgoszcz. Later it turned out that we are talking about a rocket that crashed on December 16.
