Norway to train more than 3,000 Ukrainian soldiers in a year

Norwegian Armed Forces Forsvaret will train approximately three thousand soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2023. This was reported by the Ukrainian General Staff on Facebook (the owner of Meta was considered an extremist in Russia and was banned).

The Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Norway plans to train around 3,200 Ukrainian soldiers, both in Norway and abroad, by 2023.

Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram visited one of the training grounds of the Ukrainian army the previous day.
He stated that Norway supports Ukraine “both financially and educationally” and will provide as much support as necessary.

At the end of April, Norwegian trainers began to train more than a hundred military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On March 10, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with Washington, will give Ukraine has two NASAMS air defense systems and will prepare the Ukrainians to work with them.
