Israeli National Security Advisor Tzachi Khanegbi said the country’s authorities ruled out the possibility of an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by the Qatar TV channel. Al Arabiya.
“We are not negotiating a ceasefire,” Khanegbi said.
According to him, the entire responsibility for stopping missile launches that hit the Israeli enclave for the fifth day in a row lies with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group (the organization is banned in Russia).
The material states that the Egyptian authorities are trying to achieve a ceasefire between the parties, but according to the speaker, the top priority for Israel at the moment is to shoot at militants, which excludes the possibility of a ceasefire agreement.
Formerly Israel Defense Forces hit At the “Islamic Jihad” headquarters in the Gaza Strip.
This came in response to new shelling from the Gaza Strip, where rockets were directed into the mountains of Jerusalem for the first time since the start of the Israeli IDF’s “Shield and Arrow” operation. According to this Jerusalem Post, rockets flew towards Efrat, Beitar Ilit, Beit Shemesh, Gefen, Tirosh, Gvaot, Har Gilo, Neve Daniel, Tzur Hadassah, Rosh Tzurim and Kfar Etzion. It is recorded that Palestinian radicals have launched more than 800 rockets since the beginning of the operation.
