According to the agency, an affectionate Muscovite reported via a chatbot to help wild animals that a crocodile was being kept in a small terrarium in a nightclub. According to him, the animal is in danger.
Employees of the Moscow Interregional Environmental Prosecutor’s Office and the Moscow Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection conducted an examination and revealed the presence of a slip in one of the clubs on Kudrinskaya Square. Documents confirming the origin of the animal and granting ownership rights were not submitted.
Law enforcement determines all the circumstances and causes of the incident. If the organization does not provide documentation for the crocodile, the crocodile will be confiscated and sent to the Wild Animal Rehabilitation Center. There the caiman will be examined by veterinarians and will provide him with the necessary assistance.
