In Russia, they began to produce a purely domestic Cheytac sniper cartridge. In this respect DEA News said Vladislav Lobaev, head of enterprise developer Lobaev Arms.
According to Lobaev, the sniper cartridge 10.3×77 millimeter Cheytac was completely replaced at the factory. Serial production has already begun.
Prior to this, US-made sleeves and gunpowder from the USA and Finland were used for such cartridges.
“For the first time, our 375 Cheytac rifles are supplied with a Kazan company’s gunpowder before using cartridges and foreign components with a Russian cartridge case developed by Lobaev Arms,” Lobaev said.
Lobaev Arms is located in Kaluga and is Russia’s first private defense establishment.
