US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed the preparations for the counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a phone call with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba on Friday. It has been reported press service US Department of State.
According to the agency, Blinken and Kuleba discussed the contribution of Ukraine’s international partners and how this could contribute to the upcoming counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army.
Noting that Ukraine’s sovereignty is vital to peace and security in Europe, Blinken reaffirmed the US commitment to hold Russia accountable and reiterated President (Joe) Biden’s commitment to support Ukraine as needed.
