Mikhail Azatyan, an expert in dental innovation and CEO of XGate Dental Russia, told the newspaper “News” about the service life of innovative materials for dental treatment.
He explained that the service life of gaskets depends on material quality, assembly and proper oral care.
“They can usually last for five to 15 years or more. But if the filling is done correctly and the patient monitors the oral cavity, it can last for years,” he said.
The service life of implants, if properly cared for and regularly checked by a dentist, can last for decades or even a lifetime.
“The development of digital technologies, including computed tomography, 3D scanning, allows dentists to plan and execute treatment more accurately and efficiently,” said the expert.
