Russian Deputy Minister of Justice Oleg Sviridenko said that the “third party” category will be included in the legislation on foreign agents. It has been reported TASS.
“Legislative activity (in progress and we have decided to use the anti-law regime),” Sviridenko said.
According to him, the State Duma committee supported the legislative initiative “concerning third parties who are not foreign agents.”
He noted that these individuals were not even affiliated with foreign agents, but as third parties they could have a certain influence and help foreign agents violate the law to control the activities of foreigners.
Also Sviridenko declarationThere can be several reasons for recognizing a citizen as a foreign agent, and it is not just a matter of external financing. In his view, the main point of the unified law on foreign agents is to depart from the rather “one-sided” and limited “foreign support” understanding of only receiving money from outside sources.
