Diane Ferreira of Orlando spent hundreds of dollars on beauty salon services, gas, meals and hotel accommodation using a deceased person’s card. The woman stole her credit card while searching the victim’s house. The police officer pleaded guilty after he was caught red-handed.
Ferreira was arrested on charges of stealing credit card information and fraud, but was released by court order. The head of the police department, where the American worked, apologized to the family of the deceased.
