The Rabota.ru service conducted a study and found out at what stages of the job search Russians most often encounter difficulties. socialbites.ca got acquainted with the results of the survey.
Therefore, the majority of Russians surveyed noted difficulties in finding vacancies: 59% stated that their number was insufficient or there were no suitable offers. 43% of respondents pointed to a discrepancy between the suggested salary for vacancies and the stated requirements. The same number (43%) are faced with incomplete information about vacancy.
The lack of feedback from the employer was highlighted by 42% of the respondents. 37% drew attention to the discrepancy between the declared and expected working conditions. One-third (33%) believe employers are not active on job search sites.
High demands of employers for the competencies of a future employee were noted by 26% of respondents. One in four people face the requirement to have work experience that makes job hunting difficult. 13% also mentioned employers’ requirements for specific training.
11% of respondents have difficulty writing a resume and passing interviews. 9% mentioned not having time to look for a job. 4% stated that it is difficult to understand the interface of construction sites.
