State Duma deputy Irina Filatova from the ranks of the Communist Party proposed a moratorium on the eleventh version of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11). wrote about him telegraph channelexplains this recommendation by saying that transsexuality is not recognized as a disease in the ICD-11.

Filatova said that after examining the gender reassignment procedure in Russia, it became clear that the country “is not far behind Western countries” in this regard.

According to the MP, the increase in the number of sex reassignment operations in the world is a result of the propaganda of “supranational pharmaceutical companies”.

“First of all, a moratorium needs to be introduced in the ICD-11, because according to this document, transsexualism is by no means considered a disease. <..> The gender ideology on which this dreadful drug business of sterilizing the population is built must itself be considered extremist! There are only two genders and you are the person you were born with! Point,” said Filatova.
