Experts said that the high fire hazard class is primarily associated with strong winds and a large amount of dry grass.

Permission to visit routes has been suspended.

Pribaikalsky National Park was established in 1986. Its specialists are engaged in the conservation of rare animal and plant species. The length of the specially protected area on the shore of Lake Baikal is 470 km. It is the longest national park in the country. Its area is 417.3 thousand hectares.
