A military mine from the times of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) was found in an apartment in the northeast of Moscow. This was reported by Telegram channel Shot.

According to the information received, a woman found a mine while rescuing old furniture from the wardrobe on the balcony of one of the houses on Mira Street. She said she saw a rusty shell in one of the boxes and immediately called the emergency services. Now the mine will be examined by experts.

Previously, Shot, a pensioner from the Oryol region who died five years ago, afflicted a large stock of mortar mine in his house. A dangerous find was found in one of the houses in the village of Berezovka. Apparently, the late 70-year-old owner of the house was hiding 14 boxes of WWII ammunition in his basement. In total, experts counted 140 rounds.

It was also reported that a 44-year-old local resident lives in Novosibirsk. discovered bullet for automatic weapon. The ammunition was found near the garage of a Russian woman on the evening of 8 May, on the 2nd Portovaya Street. When the woman decided to clear the driveway, she found an explosive object and reported it to the police.
