Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonsson said the kingdom has no plans to send fighter jets to Ukraine. TV channel reported SVT.
Jonsson noted that Sweden has no extra JAS aircraft to send to Ukraine “here and now”. He noted that assistance to Ukraine will now largely consist of training and maintenance and support of equipment that has already been dispatched.
Also, according to the head of the Swedish defense ministry, participation in joint service and repair centers close to the borders of Ukraine can be updated.
