In Ukraine, a bill has been registered to lower the age limit for conscription from 27 to 25. Information about this was published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

It was Denys Shmygal, the Prime Minister of the country, who initiated the draft law that allows to attract more citizens to military service during the mobilization period.

The explanatory note of the bill states that its implementation “normalizes the problem of replenishing the mobilized human reserve.” Currently, it is not possible to mobilize citizens of military age, according to Ukrainian legislation.
