US military experts do not understand how Russia managed to intercept the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), which were sent to the Ukrainian army as part of military assistance. These release reports Military Watch Magazine.

The material shows that HIMARS systems are becoming “increasingly effective” in terms of accuracy, and Russian air defense systems (AD) are more likely to hit them.

“It remains unclear how the Russian Armed Forces could reduce the effectiveness of the systems so much,” the publication says.

The authors of the paper discuss the risk that HIMARS and similar vehicles could become much more vulnerable in a full-scale war, as potential attacks would first be sent to American satellites coordinating missile launches.

Former Russian Ministry of Defense reportedHe reported that 5 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, Grom-2 operational-tactical missiles and Tochka-U tactical missiles were intercepted by air defense systems in one day.
