The Victory Parade, held on Red Square in honor of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was shown on the streets of Moscow for the first time on large-format digital screens in real time. In total, the parade will be shown on 100 screens in the capital.

In addition to the classic broadcast of the parade on TV and Internet resources, it was noted that residents and guests of the capital could see the parade in large format on the central streets of Moscow – Rublevo-Uspenskoye, Varshavskoye and Leningradskoye. Highways on the Moscow Ring Road and the Third Ring Road, Leninsky and Volgogradsky streets.

The initiator of the broadcast was the operator of the digital outdoor advertising medium, which owns MAER. The live broadcast was watched by nearly three million Muscovites. Considering the replays of the highlights from the parade, which will be broadcast on May 9 and 10, approximately 11 million people will feel the impact of being in Red Square.

It was previously reported that on May 9, 2023, more than 8,000 soldiers from 30 parade units, including 500 SVO members, participated in the parade. Recall that Victory Day in Russia is celebrated every year. On May 9, 1945, Germany’s Unconditional Surrender Act was signed, ending the Great Patriotic War.
