ororo munroe

generally accepted one of the most powerful mutants on the planet, Storm, whose real name is Ororo Munroe, was orphaned at a young age and was taken prisoner by a village nun on her way to her mother’s home in Kenya. When his village suffered during a drought, he summoned the rain to help. Although her mutant weather manipulation power had negative consequences in other parts of the region, townspeople worshiped her as a rain goddess.

Years later, when word of his ability to control the weather spread, Charles Xavier recruited Ororo to join the X-Men and he became Storm. He then led the X-Men, using his mutant abilities to help people around the world. While Storm is searching for an endangered mutant boy in New York with Wolverine, he meets Magik, who encourages him to join the Midnight Suns in Blood Storm.
