The Japanese government has completely lifted the warning for the country’s citizens to travel abroad in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. It has been reported Kyodo.

The agency recalled that Japan first offered level one advice for travelers to China in January 2020. Later, Level 3 alerts were issued with travel warnings to 159 countries and regions around the world.

It has been noted that since October 2022, recommendations encouraging travelers to “be fully prepared” when visiting other countries have been in effect in Japan.
