Russian volunteers began to distribute St. George ribbons in the Kherson district, transmits FAN, referring to the Regional Humanitarian Centre. It is stated that the distribution of Victory symbols in Genichesk was organized by local activist David Lobakin. The action took place in the square in front of the regional administration.
“This is how we express our civic stance. We want to create an atmosphere of holiday for residents of the Kherson region, despite the harsh living conditions and regular shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. People are happy to receive the tapes, we were asked long before today. “The St. George’s Ribbon has long been a symbol of Victory Day, and it is now particularly important to restore historical justice in these regions,” he said.
It was also reported that on the eve of the mission, the organization “Victory Volunteers” together with its activists distributed St. George’s ribbons in the villages of Ivanovka and Rubanovka.
Before that, Russian volunteers helped organize a celebration May 1 in the Kherson region.
