At least seven people were killed and more than a dozen injured by gunfire. Authorities have not yet arrested the alleged perpetrator of the incident, which took place in the town of Dubona in the Mladenvac district, south of Belgrade, according to media reports.
A 21-year-old man will be the perpetrator of the shooting that started after he had an argument with a police officer. According to the news of the ‘Vecherne Novosti’ newspaper, after the brawl, the young man went to his house to buy an automatic rifle and shot several people.
Among the dead will be the police officer and his sister, with whom he was arguing. Emergency services are treating at least 13 injured. According to the ‘Blic’ newspaper, there is a 15-year-old boy among the injured.
Authorities blocked the roads to the town and, according to the aforementioned newspaper, have located the alleged murderer, although the arrest has not yet taken place. At least one helicopter flying over the area has also been deployed, and police operations are being conducted in the nearby municipality of Sepsin.
